Rising above the Operational Impacts of Climate Change

The impacts of climate change are threatening the traditional business practices of commercial and government organizations. These organizations must now deal with extreme weather events that can cost billions and degrade mission capabilities. The result can be amplified operational demands, degraded infrastructure, increased health risks, and potential modifications to existing and planned equipment acquisition. This panel will assess how public-private partnerships between the Federal sector and commercial industry, and the development of new technologies, can help mitigate or address these threats and enable quicker organizational recovery time.
